Bosveld Primary School

This reservoir was installed in Lephalale, Limpopo Province, on the 8th of July 2020 at Bosveld Primary School. This installation was a tricky one. During the government-implemented Lockdown Level 3, the schools have just opened to learners, which increased foot-traffic in the area drastically. Therefore, our main priority was to limit the exposure of our installation team and other members of the public who may be in the surrounding area, which made it a time-sensitive installation.

For the installation to run smoothly, strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols was necessary as we wanted to keep our contact with other people to the minimum. We managed to complete the installation of this 6.1m x 3.7m reservoir that included a steel dome roof and a food-grade liner, with only three of our own staff members. Our team did an amazing job and finished the reservoir in only two days.

After the client finished the reservoir’s foundation, the team returned to finish the reservoir off with flashing and a level indicator, which gives it a nice and neat finish and makes it easy to keep an eye on the water levels of the reservoir. The reservoir needed to be easy on the eye, as this reservoir is visible from the street and part of common areas. We pride ourselves on our professionalism in ensuring that our reservoir is not an eye-sore on your property.

The roof, which is designed to withstand winds of up to 140km/h, along with the food-grade liner, will keep the water clean from algae and any other debris and keep it safe for human consumption. This was a necessity for this project as the client intends to use the water to irrigate the terrain and sports fields and supply drinking water during sporting events.
